If you’re just about to start University, I’m sure there will be many of you who may be moving out. If so, you’ll be preparing and packing your stuff ready to move in. If so here are 5 ways you can save space in the car and make the most of a small space in your room.

1. Use vacuum storage bags

Not only are these perfect to keep your duvet, pillows, clothes for the car journey whilst moving in but to keep items you are less likely you use away in under bed storage.

2. Save your food shop until after you’ve moved in

Your car is most likely going to be completely full, so you can try to save space by buying your food once you’ve arrived at uni rather than beforehand as this can take up a lot of room in the which can be used for lots more!

3. Remove original packaging

This is an easy way you can fit more items in boxes when moving out. There’s no need for extra packaging!

4. Use multi hangers

If you’re anything like me and need to take everything, this is a great way to fit an extra few items in such a small space!

5. Use over the door hooks

Most uni rooms are generally quite small and this is an easy way to save space by hanging up coats and jackets on hooks behind your door.

Hope you’ve found this useful and thank you for reading.
