As Christmas approaches, the sporting calendar starts to get busier and busier.
We look at the best of sport that cannot be missed this month.
Manchester Derby (7th December)
One of the biggest footballing ties of the month is Manchester City v Manchester United.
Both teams will be desperate come out on top with the bragging rights and earn a vital three points.
Pep’s City will want to close the gap between them and league leaders Liverpool, whilst United will want to be within a fighting chance of top four.
England tour of South Africa (17th December-)
To close a successful year, which saw a World Cup win, England cricket will begin their tour of South Africa.
The tour will run right up until the 16th February, with the Barmy Army hoping it’ll be a winter to remember.
Sports Personality (15th December)
The end of year awards recognising the best performers of the year will certainly be an excellent watch.
With some truly wonderful moments throughout 2019, Sports Personality is going to be a tight contest.
One of the favourites for the top prize is Ben Stokes, after his heroics for England during the World Cup wining campaign.
World Club Challenge:
In an already busy month, Liverpool head to Qatar for the World Club Challenge.
With two trophies already in 2019, Jurgen Klopp’s side will be hoping to finish the year with a third.
