- McComb offer DOUBLES BEDS and gold rooms have a MINI KITCHENETTE in your room. This is perfect for you and your friend who want to SHARE A ROOM. (Bet you can’t get that anywhere else)
- Although living on campus is great for the first year, it is better to stay somewhere quieter for the following years- As I spent my first year living on campus having the bus and taxi stand just across the road, it meant I heard people at 3 am shouting and singing when walking past my flat after a night out which is not what I wanted when I had a 9 am lecture the next day.
McComb Students Vs Student Housing
Student Housing can often look easier and cheaper but is it really?
- Although the cost of rent is often less than McComb, many student houses are BILLS EXCLUDED and sometimes even WITHOUT WI-FI… WHAT?!
- So not only are you paying bills (which are most likely to GET MORE EXPENSIVE during winter due to heating) but may not get fast WIFI as you do at McComb (It’s SUPER FIBRE OPTIC here!)
- Student housing can also mean that they are quite far from university so again, more money will be spent on transport, getting to lectures.
- If there are any issues regarding maintenance, students often wait for their landlords to be available to contact them about the issues, it could take up to a few days or weeks for heating or water to be fixed.
