Ormskirk students are buzzing with the idea of breaking up for Christmas soon. However, before they do think about going home for the holiday season, there are plenty of Ormskirk events happening in and around the town. These events are perfect to get into the Christmas mood. The Christmas lights switch on was just last weekend so you can see the glistening lights from a few of our accommodations since they are town-centre located!
From December 1st onwards, McComb Students and other local event goers can look to go to experiences such as ‘Make Your Own Christmas Wreath’ happening at Eden’s Tearoom and Galleries or there is also a ‘weekend of wonderful Artisan Markets at Mere Sands Wood’ on the 3rd December 2022.
Another great addition to Ormskirk, is the brand-new Ormskirk Market. The market is located on Moorgate which is just past the McComb Students office! Feel free to pop in during our office hours – Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm to have a chat about your student accommodation for 2023-2024. We have plenty of options with from group bookings to studio rooms available. The Ormskirk Market is now open and has a huge variety of food cuisines across the board. Six traders including Greek staples such as Gyros to tempting tacos by Backyard Liverpool and of course the irresistible eats from Mei Shi. The market really does have something for everyone, a little bit like our motto here at McComb Students accommodation.
If you’re looking for something even more magical then there is also a ‘Magic Live Lounge Christmas Show’ on December 9th located at The Chapel, very close to our Antonia Court accommodation. There are several acts appearing at the show from mind readers to master magicians, it’s something you won’t want to miss.
